History

Chattanooga Wedding Officiants was founded in 2013 by Rev. Krissy Ramsey. Rev. Ramsey is an ordained Interfaith Minister legally authorized to solemnize marriages in all 50 states. She holds a Ph.D. in Pastoral Counseling from the Esoteric Interfaith Theological Seminary in Cottonwood, Arizona and a Master of Education degree in Community Counseling from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Rev. Ramsey created the business because she saw a need for officiants who could respond to the needs of couples wanting more contemporary, secular, and spiritually-oriented wedding ceremonies. She seeks to serve all couples regardless of their beliefs or sexual orientation.

Serving Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia, we are LGBT-affirming and the area's leading provider of non-denominational, interfaith, and same-sex wedding ceremonies, We have many beautiful standard ceremonies to choose from or can assist couples in creating a personalized ceremony to fit their needs. We are available for short-notice elopements and can travel up to 100-miles from Chattanooga (extended travel fees apply).. Fees start at $200 and are based on the type and location of the ceremony. Premarital counseling is NOT required, and we offer an optional in-person consultation for $50 at the couple's request.
