At our Memphis, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. Deluxe platter...the shrimp burned to a crisp...bake potato discolored bad taste ...deviled crab spoiled shell in pieces..over cooked fish fillets !

Ordered online and picked up. Customer service was ok, nothing grand, food was decently cooked , not overdone or greasy. Overall not bad. Could've been better but still ok.

Everything was over cooked and dry. Like it was under a heat lamp all day. I ordered the loaded baked potato, coleslaw and the Alaskan Wild. The Salmon was dry and bland, the rice I chewed like...

Captain D's is very good they don't have you waiting for a very long time , but sometimes the food will be cold or they forget things. I remember I got a 2 piece fish plate and they forgot my coke...
