Originally a school for white males only, the academy was turned over to African-Americans in the early 1900s. This restored National Register building serves as a cultural and heritage museum where visitors can learn about the importance of the United States Colored Troops and the legacy of African-American education in our country. Bradley Academy Museum & Cultural Center is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am until 4 pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, and $1 for children under 12.
