Excel TSD of Tennessee, LLC is a commercial hazardous waste storage, treatment and disposal facility located in Memphis, TN. Excel acquired its present facility and assumed the operations of a non-affiliated predecessor in 2003 under an agreement with the State of Tennessee and various other parties. Since that time, Excel has grown to become a well respected provider of environmental services and a major force within its defined trade area. Excel has consistently performed well above established regulatory standards for the operation of a TSD facility and is presently permitted through 2018. Excel’s commitment to the conservation and preservation of our natural resources and its consistently service focused and safety minded approach to doing business, has been recognized by the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development. Excel has received the Governor’s Award of Excellence for Workplace Safety and the SHARP Award, of Tennessee’s highest honors for workplace safety and health for employers with fewer than 250 workers in high-hazard industrial classifications.
