For over thirty years, Wesley Senior Ministries has been serving senior adults as an outreach of The United Methodist Church. It is a housing and healthcare ministry chartered to provide caring services that enhance the quality of living for elderly persons, regardless of race, creed, sex, disabling condition or the ability to pay. All Wesley communities are ecumenical in both staff and residents. Serving the whole person in body, mind and spirit is a commitment of each community. We respond to needs in the following ways: Assisted living is for individuals who need to combine their independence with assistance in personal care such as meals, housekeeping, laundry, monitoring of medicines, or bathing and dressing. Wesley Senior Ministries is committed to a caring ministry to residents in Wesley communities. The caring extends to the families of residents and the Wesley staff. Founded in 1979, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis is a 25-plus-bed skilled nursing facility that offers a range of health care and medical services. It maintains an emergency department that has more than 30 treatment suites. The hospital provides various pediatric care solutions. Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis operates the Hardin Pediatric Center. It also maintains the Plaza Diagnostic Pavilion, which is an outpatient facility that handles nearly 10,000 outpatients on a monthly basis. The hospital operates the Baptist Heart Institute, which is an approximately 165,000-square-foot facility that offers cardiovascular research and treatment services. Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis is accredited by The Joint Commission. It is a part of Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation.
