Windcross Conservancy

Windcross Conservancy's Spanish Mustang Preserve is located in the southern Black Hills of South Dakota. SD HWy 79 1.5 Miles it is just a 15 minute drive for Hot Springs and 40 minutes from Rapid City. A family friendly attraction. The management strives to make sure that every visitor gets to experience the Spanish Mustang horses Windcross. *Please be aware that it is a walking tour amongst the horses. Accommodations can be made for those unable to do the walk. * This is a hands on history and educations experience with an endangered historical horse breed. Reservations are required although docents are accomodating as availability of staff allows. Docents reserve the right to make tour judgements for the safety of the party. No exceptions. Bus, large group, school and photo tours are available by special arrangement.
