History

We started small with only gourmet chocolates. In 2008 we added coffee roasting. In 2010 we moved to our current location. We added home winemaking to our store and also a Wine-on-Premise for people who wanted to make wine but not at home. 2013 saw the additon of Ghost Town Winery to our collection. The tasting is in our store on Kemp Avenue.

At Watertown Confectionery, we know some things are just better the old-fashioned way. From hand-dipped chocolates and fresh seasonal sweets to ghost town-inspired wines and house-roasted coffee, we take our time crafting the finer things for our neighbors. All of our chocolates, wines, and coffee are prepared in-house, and we're the only place in South Dakota where you can design your own wine from start to finish. Whether you're shopping for a one-of-a-kind gift or sharing a wonderful tasting experience with our owners, Vickie and Mike, we hope you can taste the love in every unique creation from our kitchen.
