HistoryTwilight was started almost 25 years ago by a Sturgis couple. In 2015 they decided it was time to sell the business. The timing was right for Adam and Leah Braun to take over. Adam jokes that he's always had a passion for bandages and ibuprofen. That may be true, but our reason for being passionate about safety and first aid strikes closer to home. Both of Adam's grandpas and other family members worked at the Homestake Gold Mine in Lead, SD for many years. Safety wasn't always as well understood. Grandpa Jim Braun's health was impacted by his years mining underground. Leah's dad was in auto body repair for more than 40 years. His health was impacted by a lack of proper safety understanding and controls. Seeing the impact of this on our families drives home the importance of safety for us.
