Conrad C. Nievera, Jr., M.D., FAAN, FAES is a neurologist at Monument Health in Rapid City. Dr. Nievera earned a bachelor's degree in biology at the University of the Philippines in Quezon City, Philippines. He then earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines in Manila, Philippines. Dr. Nievera went on to a neurology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, completed his fellowship training in EEG, Epilepsy and Evoked Potentials and Stroke, all at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUPUI) in Indianapolis, IN. His medical interests include: medically resistant and different to control epilepsy, spell/seizure evaluation, and device therapy for epilepsy. He sees adults patients as well as children who are over a year old. When he isn’t working, Dr. Nievera enjoys cooking, exploring restaurants, traveling and playing cards.

Kyle Schmidt, M.D., is a neurosurgeon at the Monument Health Neuroscience Center. Dr. Schmidt achieved his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Chadron State College and his Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his Neurosurgery Residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2020. Dr. Schmidt is a member of the American Association of Neurosurgical Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. In his free time, Dr. Schmidt enjoys spending time participating in agricultural activities and in the outdoors with his family and friends.
