Stanley County High School

Stanley County Schools provides elementary, middle and high school academic and technology education. It is a consolidated school district and operates a kindergarten through grade two elementary school, and a grades three through five middle school. It also operates a grades six through 12 high school. The district s middle and high schools curricula include English, language arts, math, foreign languages, science and social studies and technology education. The district s high school also provides dual credit courses, and distance learning, physical and special education. The district s schools offer various extracurricular activities, such as art, music, band and drama, and the National Honor Society program. The district s schools also have libraries providing literary sources, accelerated reader programs, audiovisual aids, Internet search tools, and magazines and newspapers. The middle and high schools provide various sports activities, including basketball, football, gymnastics, volleyball, golf and wrestling. It also provides financial aid to students through scholarships. The district is located in Fort Pierre, S.D.
