South Dakota State Medical Holding Co

The South Dakota State Medical Association is a professional organization of more than 1,600 medical doctors and doctors of osteopathy that offers health care services for patients. The state medical association offers a wide variety of programs and services, including member advocacy and physician representation, networking, trade publications and corporate communication tools, leadership development, education and medical practice management. It provides various membership packages. The association is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to approve intrastate continuing medical education providers. It also provides information and opportunities to be involved in a variety of public health issues, including immunizations, cancer, obesity, infant care, and public health alerts and updates in South Dakota. The state medical association is located in Sioux Valley, S.D.
