Ski For Light

Black Hills Regional Ski for Light is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing visually and mobility-impaired individuals with access to invigorating outdoor activities throughout the year. Founded over 40 years ago, this all-volunteer group follows the model of Ski for Light Inc., an international organization that enhances the quality of life for participants through adaptive cross-country skiing and other outdoor experiences.

Each year, the organization hosts two main events: a winter gathering in January featuring cross-country and downhill skiing, and a summer event in August at Camp Bob Marshall, offering a range of accessible activities like biking, boating, and hiking.
