Platte Medical Clinic Avera

Platte Health Center, Avera Health, established in 1949 by the area community, was formerly known as Platte Community Memorial Hospital. The 15-bed facility, located in Platte, S.D., offers more than eight swing beds and over five acute care beds. The center has a staff of two physicians and a mid-level provider is available five days a week. The center offers a range of services, such as medical, surgical and obstetrics. It also offers emergency and outpatient services, and pediatric and maternal care. The medical center also offers cardiac care and rehabilitation services, occupational, physical and speech therapies and sports medicine services.
