History

Founded in 1981, Headlines Academy was originally located on St. Patrick Street in Rapid City, SD. In 1985, the business moved into the historic Elks Building at 506 6th Street were it resided for years. In 1999, Peggy Sproat acquired Headlines from previous owner, Patricia Danielson. 2010 saw the school move to its current location at 333 Omaha Street, Suite 7 in the newly remodeled Tuscany Square. In December of 2019, Headlines Academy became a Paul Mitchell School!
