Oglala Lakota College Historical Center

Located in Kyle, S.D., Oglala Lakota College is a higher education institution chartered by the Oglala Sioux Tribe. The college offers a wide range of certificates and undergraduate degree courses. It has various academic departments, including applied sciences, early childhood, graduate and foundational studies, humanities, language arts and information technology departments. The college also offers several programs and courses in mathematics, science, nursing and social work. Its education department provides various degrees and programs, such as associate degrees in early childhood and elementary education and Bachelor of Science in business education. Founded in 1971, the college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
