Kyle Lemley, M.D., is a Pediatric Critical Care Specialist and Pediatrician at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his Pediatric Residency at the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, and his Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. Dr. Lemley finds joy in healing both the child and the family. Being admitted to the PICU is stressful and traumatizing to both. He treats each of his patients as if they were his own kids — striving to provide the best care in every situation. Outside of work, Dr. Lemley covets time with his family and can often be found outdoors, skiing, exercising and cooking.

Dr. Purdy is a Cardiologist at Monument Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He received his medical degree at the University of South Dakota’s Sanford School of Medicine. Marcus Tjeerdsma, M.D., is a General Surgeon at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital. Dr. Tjeerdsma received his medical degree at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Kansas-Wichita School of Medicine in Wichita, Kan. He is trained in minimally invasive robotic surgery and follows the philosophy of treating his patients with the same care and compassion that he would want for his own family. Dr. Tjeerdsma grew up on a farm near Tyndall, S.D., and is happy to be back in his home state. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, hiking and exploring the Black Hills.
