Lewis & Clark Recreation Area is one of the largest campgrounds on the shore of Lewis and Clark Lake located in Yankton, S.C. It features more than 350 paved campsites and over 10 camping cabins. The campground s camping cabins include double and bunk beds with mattresses, air conditioners, heating solutions and bathrooms. Lewis & Clark Recreation Area also features a range of fire grates and picnic tables beside each cabin. It includes customized restrooms that are equipped with hot showers. The campground organizes a range of weekend park programs for its customers. Lewis & Clark Recreation Area features swimming beaches, boat ramps and docks, picnic shelters and grills and dump stations.

This lake is fed by the Missouri River. The dam makes a nice reservoir with some nice views of beautiful bluffs. The park actually straddles the border of NE and SD. The good news is that if...

We love this place!! It's beautiful and there has never been a time when we've been here that it hasn't been beautiful (even in the rain and snow)!! My wife and I come here at least once a year...
