The Lead Deadwood Arts Center (LDAC) is a nonprofit organization that has been bringing quality arts programming to the Lead and Deadwood area for over three decades. Managed by an Executive Director and a volunteer Board, LDAC supports artistic efforts through community art projects, exhibits, classes, and more. With a beautiful art gallery and gift shop located in the Historic Homestake Opera House, LDAC also offers custom framing services and is funded through grants, foundations, memberships, and fundraisers.
The LDAC believes in the power of the arts to enhance education, bring people together, boost community pride, and contribute to economic development. By promoting educational and cultural activities, LDAC strives to create a stronger economic base and a thriving arts scene in the Lead and Deadwood communities.
