Great Bear Ski Valley offers more than 220 acres of unlimited year-round fun and excitement just minutes away from downtown Sioux Falls, SD. As the largest park in the Sioux Falls Park and Recreation Department, Great Bear features unlimited winter sports activities for the whole family. Featuring 14 downhill trails, snowboarding terrain park, Kirby Family Tubing Park and cross country and snow shoeing trails that provide fun and excitement for all skill levels. During the summer months, Great Bear provides the perfect setting for hiking, bird watching or enjoying a picnic on our four mile trail system. Fun and good vibes, most people are friendly and are supportive and helpful. It's a great community and after snowboarding here for 4 years, I would recommend greatly.
