Freeman High School

Freeman High School operates as a part of the Freeman Public School System and offers an educational program for students in grades seven through 12. It offers individualized attention to students through its small size classroom groups system and provides a curriculum that includes English, business studies, mathematics, social studies and special education. In addition, it provides academic classes in family and consumer science, arts, computers, vocational agriculture, psychology, foreign language, and vocal and instrumental music. The school offers several extracurricular activities for the development of social, civic and learning skills among students, such as band concerts, girl s chorus, oral interpretation training, drama lessons and quiz bowl. Freeman High School also organizes homecoming parades, all-state chorus, parent-teacher conferences and Christmas concerts. The school is located in Freeman, S.D.
