Beautiful store with such amazing hand made authentic Dakota jewelry drums and buffalo hides. Definitely should check it out. The woman was so helpful with history.

Dakota Drum Company, located in downtown Rapid City, South Dakota, has been specializing in traditional buffalo hide drums, Pow Wow drums, and buffalo hide hand drums for over 30 years. Their drums are made from hand-scraped buffalo rawhide with cottonwood frames and are handpainted by renowned Lakota artist Sonja Holy Eagle.
In addition to their exceptional drums, Dakota Drum Company also offers a variety of Native American art, including hide paintings and ledger art by Sonja Holy Eagle, as well as beadwork and quillwork by artists from various reservations. Visitors to their store can also find a selection of traditional arts, jewelry, buffalo robes, sweetgrass, and sage.
