Community Health Center
The Community HealthCare Association of the Dakotas (CHAD) supports community health centers and South Dakota Urban Indian Health in their mission to provide access to high-quality, reliable, and affordable healthcare for all Dakotans, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. With over 35 years of experience, CHAD collaborates with health centers, community leaders, and partners to enhance healthcare access and improve services in underserved areas of the Dakotas.
Health centers in the Dakotas serve more than 136,000 individuals across 52 communities, offering comprehensive integrated primary, dental, and behavioral healthcare. CHAD is dedicated to creating healthier communities by advocating for policies that increase healthcare access and by providing resources and training to its member health centers.
