History

My name is Melanie. I started the Bead Co from scratch 15 years ago {you get extra credit if you now say 'you mean when you were 18?} after creating a jewelry line and selling my wares to small shops and at arts & crafts shows across the country. Now we have an arts & crafts show and jewelry workshop collaboration daily! I am blessed with amazing customers, wonderful staff, & a continual passion for helping, learning & creating. I love, love, love doing custom work more than anything. Bring in the kiddos for fingerprints, bring in Great-Grandma's jewelry so we can help repurpose it, bring Dad's signature so we can create a pure silver pendant from it's exact mold ... these are the things I love and I can promise it will show in your new gift or creation. We create custom, personalized works including Fingerprint, Handprint, Footprint and handwriting, drawing & Signature jewelry. The Bead Co offers a sparkly blend of custom creations and DIY projects. You'll be guided patiently to share your custom personalized ideas, create an heirloom, or start your own jewelry making hobby with our store full of beads, ideas, findings, tools & classes. Bring in your wedding dress, we'll create custom works for you and your party to wear on your special day.
