Founding Fathers Black Hills, located in Rapid City, South Dakota, was a historical attraction that offered visitors a unique 3-D, life-sized depiction of the famous John Trumbull painting at Independence Hall Home of the Founding Fathers. Unfortunately, this location is permanently closed.
While it provided a fascinating blend of history and art, Founding Fathers Black Hills is no longer in operation, leaving visitors to explore other nearby attractions such as Big Thunder Gold Mine, Rockin R Rides, Inc, Crazy Horse Mountain Memorial, Bear Country USA, and the 1880 Train Black Hills Central Railroad.

Fabulous! The statues were an exact replica of a famous painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. They were very lifelike and the presentation was superb. We happen to be there...

This was a nice little stop on the way to Mt. Rushmore. The sculptures and presentation focus on the founders as men more than myth, which was a great approach. Check it out!

Oh my gosh, total blast. Honestly thought it was going to be fake. But no way, its the real deal. Go check it out, its worth the stop.
