Established in 1974, Xytel Corporation is one of the leaders in pilot plant and process systems engineering. It has commissioned more than 600 pilot plants worldwide. From ammonia to zeolites, Xytel Corporation has experience in a range of more than 130 products. The company has worked with many types of homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions, both catalytic and non-catalytic: hydrogenation, polymerization, liquefaction, pyrolysis, fermentation, distillation and crystallization, as well as all petroleum refining processes. Headquartered in Roebuck, S.C., Xytel Corporation ships more than half its projects outside the United States. Xytel India, a joint venture of Xytel Corporation and Kvaerner Powergas of India, adds complementary services in Southeast Asia. Xytel is owned by Enprotech, which is owned by Itochu. Enprotech provides financial support to Xytel Corporation and hundreds of its other United States subsidiaries.
