History

Our business started in 1999 and was known by the locals as Cakes by Shirley. In 2014, Kathy purchased the store and continued to expand and improve, while keeping the old favorite recipes.

Walnut Street Bakery is a from-scratch bakery that specializes in cupcakes and cakes with over 50 flavor combinations! Our most popular is the Strawberry Cake, which is so good, the recipe hasn't changed in 20 years. Through our talented staff, we are able to accommodate most dietary needs, including gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan. We also make a range of baked goods and are constantly expanding.
