Carolina Alumni Association, established in 1920, is a self-governed membership organization affiliated with the University of South Carolina. The association offers various benefits to its members, including access to Thomas Cooper Library and Blatt P.E. Center, life and health insurance coverage through the alumni insurance program, and free alumni legacy club membership. It also provides opportunities to its members to connect with fellow alumni through special events and programs, such as Carolinian magazine, reunions, homecoming activities, lifelong learning, football-tailgate tents, athletic preview events and alumni travel. The association offers various discounts on hotel reservations, rental car, logo merchandise and clothing purchased from Addam's Bookstore, SC Bookstore and Russell House Bookstore, and on courses offered through the Wine and Beverage Institute at Carolina.
