History

Through the Looking Glass was created from a desire to give new life to a growing vintage clothing collection and a fascination with the vintage shopping experience. A process that evolved from a single rack of clothing set- up in local markets and at trunk shows hosted by friends to a brick and mortar permanent studio and now store-front in Travelers Rest, SC. 2017 will launch the re-imagining of the TTLG experience via a mobile platform, a traveling Pop-up shop of clothing and curiosities. We believe in expanding and improving opportunities for engagement with our product, not merely better ways to sell it. In this fast-moving age of online shopping and fast-fashion, we aim to provide an alternative retail experience that values personalized interactions and client relationships, as keys to connecting our carefully pieced treasure trove of vintage garments with those who seek and appreciate relics from the past. As each piece has a story to tell, and we the gatekeepers.
