Thank you so much for visiting my Yelp page. My name is Ashley and The Uprooted Florist, LLC is my brain child. I used to work for this beautiful shop just outside of Austin, Texas where we did primarily weddings. The Barber sisters helped me discover my love of flowers and creating. In 2011, I joined the United States Air Force and that temporarily shut that creative piece of me down and I fixed airplanes for 8 years. In 2014, I married the love of my life Jared. Naturally, as a florist I did all my own flowers and everyone was amazed that I had this unknown skill and talent for it. In August of 2019, I blew everyone away with my best friend Rebecca's wedding. I was the Maid of Honor and florist. Side note: I cannot stress this enough, hire someone to do your flowers!( like me). I'll never forget the two photographers on two separate occasions were both wide-eyed. They asked me WHO I WAS and if I did this professionally. I explained I just did this upon request, but one day I would love to do this full time. They both encouraged me that
