History
After playing together in live bands for over a decade, two friends decided they wanted to be the house band in their own bar. The fact that one of them had also been a chef for over a quarter-century certainly helped! Star Tavern is the expression of their love for fresh food, cold drinks and live music 7 nights a week.

Star Tavern features home-style comfort foods & spirits in a relaxed rustic atmosphere, with free live music 7 nights a week. Our 100 year-old wooden building is the perfect setting for your lunch or dinner out with family and friends. Local favorite dishes include beer-battered onion rings, fried squash and fresh wings. The Prime Time Sandwich, made with Prime Rib, is a huge hit. Our seafood baskets are very popular, too. We focus on fresh ingredients, friendly service and playful attitudes.

Great music on Monday nights. Eric Mauldin the bass player is phenomenal!!! The place is a hidden jewel in Little River on Monday nights!
