Sumter Speedway is the oldest continuously running dirt track in South Carolina. It opened in 1957 and has been raced by many NASCAR stars such as the Petty’s and Earnhardt’s. Street stock, stock V8, extreme 4, mod 4, super street and SECA crate late models are ran weekly. Active and retired military are admitted FREE to the stands every race! Come experience a part of history!

Not too bad for a small town dirt track. The only advice I would give is don't sit too close because you will get mud thrown on you.

Sumter's little dirt track has a truckload of history behind it. Did you know Bobby Allison, Richard Petty, Cale Yarbourgh and even Dale E. raced there? Too bad surburbia is enroaching on that...
