Steamer Seafood

History

Steamer Seafood was founded in 1991 by a Kentucky Native Dale Augenstein. As a small scale restaurant, Steamer started out on a beach front location without much hope for a bright future. However as the story goes, Steamer Seafood beat all the odds and has re-located to Coligny Plaza in order to sever more customers and to create more raving fans. Our motto here is to create raving fans at all cost and that is exactly what we aim to do. It is our job to not only provide freshly made seafood but to create a memorable experience for all the customers by providing them with the best service possible.

Specialties

Fresh is how we like it and how we serve it here at Steamer Seafood! We are a scratch house for seafood; which means we do not use it if it is pre-mixed, pre-breaded, pre-made or predominately someone else's! All of our food is made to order! We have at least six fresh fish a day, crab legs, shrimp, oysters, mussels and clams cooked almost any way you can imagine! We also have a Cajun Corner and Thrill of the Grill section on our menu that satisfies the non-seafood lovers!
