With origins dating back to the 1700s, St. James Parish Church has spent most of its history as part of The Episcopal Church. After a decade away, St. James is once again part of The Episcopal Church and the worldwide Anglican Communion as of December 2022. We welcome you to come worship God in this historic place. St. James Episcopal Church strives to be a welcoming place for all (no exceptions!) focused on the ministry of serving God and our neighbor in the James Island community and beyond.

Great church with welcoming folks. We have a little one that doesn't like going in the nursery so Flip Flops and Faith is great for us. What a wonderful way to still be able to worship as a family!
