Southeastern School of Ballet

Southeastern Professional School of the Arts (SPSA) is a nonprofit organization established in 2009 that provides high-quality dance education to low to moderate-income families and at-risk youth in South Carolina. In partnership with the Southeastern School of Ballet, SPSA offers a variety of programs, including after-school introductions to dance, multiple training levels, workshops, seminars, and annual performances, all free of charge to participants through corporate and individual funding.

The organization is guided by six fundamental goals aimed at fostering an appreciation for the arts, self-expression, self-esteem, work ethic, physical well-being, and empathy. With a dedicated board of directors and a commitment to community engagement, SPSA strives to deliver professional artistic instruction and support to the greater Columbia area.
