The American Red Cross in Myrtle Beach, SC is a historic organization that works every day to prevent and alleviate human suffering. American Red Cross helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. We provide domestic disaster relief, blood collection and distribution services, preparedness information, health and safety training, service to the armed forces, and international services.

More than 200 physicians from a variety of medical specialties work at Conway Medical Center. The hospital is a private, nonprofit institution that offers health care services to residents of Northeastern South Carolina. The center includes more than 160 private rooms, as well as an 88-bed nursing center and a medical office complex. Its services include diagnostics, heart care, laboratory services, pediatrics, rehabilitation, surgery, birthing, weight loss and a variety of other specialties. Conway Medical Center is also certified as a Level III trauma center and Level II perinatal center. The Conway Medical Center Foundation is a nonprofit corporation established in 1989 as a charitable organization to provide support to Conway Medical Center. The foundation is dedicated to improving the overall health status to all individuals in the Conway Medical Center Service area.
