I specialize in Deep Tissue (don't let this word scare you, it helps significantly!) & Trigger Point Therapy. -Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that's mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains & sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles & connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury & reduce tension in muscle & tissue. It also promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow & reducing inflammation. -Trigger point therapy involves the applied pressure to your painful/sensitive areas in order to alleviate the pain on site & in other areas of the body. I usually combine these into a relaxation massage, so you receive stress relief as well as getting your knots to release, & your muscles loosened up. It is my intention to use massage therapy to support my clients health care plan & to provide quality care for all clients. I work with a variety of conditions & create a customized, outcome-driven treatment plan for each client to address their health needs.
