The Reconstruction Era National Historic Park is located in the Old Beaufort Fire station. It is a small National Park and admission is free. Mask are required whether you are vaccinated or not....

Was interesting NHP. I visited 3 different sites-- all put together a story and all interesting on different levels. If I was in the area, I would explore further in Beaufort- lots to see and do....
