Rachelle Nicole Gajadhar, MD

Rachelle Gajadhar, MD, is a geriatric primary care provider with Prisma Health Senior Primary Care in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Gajadhar received her medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore and completed her residency in internal medicine at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware. She then completed a clinician educator fellowship in geriatrics with the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at John Hopkins University School of Medicine, also in Baltimore. She is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. Gajadhar specializes in providing primary care services to patients 65 years and older. She serves as the program director for the Prisma Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia Geriatric Fellowship Program and participates in multiple training activities for the interdisciplinary team. Some of the topics include Assisted Living: A Work in Progress, Safe At Home: Multidisciplinary Program Aimed at Allowing Older Adults to Age in Place, Delirium, and Resident Immersion Training in Geriatrics.
