Prysmian, based in Columbia, S.C., is focused on the communications cables and systems segment of the business. The company is a producer of optical fibers and telecommunications cables, with multiple production facilities throughout the world. Pirelli supplies a comprehensive portfolio of products to the telecom industry, such as optical, copper, premises, data and network ribbon cables. The company also provides cable assemblies, accessories and connectivity hardware.
