Priscilla Gabriela Escalona Villasmil, MD

Maximilien Rappaport, DO, is a graduate of the University of Florida who obtained his osteopathic medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Florida Campus. He is a clinical endocrinologist at the Endocrinology Specialists and Thyroid Center at Prisma Health in the Upstate. He completed his endocrine fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine and his internal medicine residency at Greenville Health System. He additionally has obtained Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound (ECNU), a professional certification in the field of neck ultrasonography for physicians who perform consultations and diagnostic evaluations for thyroid and parathyroid disorders and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (UGFNA). Dr. Rappaport’s academic interests include student and resident education, thyroid nodules and neoplasia, as well as bone and mineral metabolism. He additionally has expertise and a special interest in caring for the LGBTQIA+ population.
