Preserving Our Southern Appalachian Music, Inc (POSAM) is a non-profit organization based in Pickens, SC, dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich musical heritage of the Southern Appalachian region. Through their Young Appalachian Musicians (YAM) program, they offer small group instruction in traditional instruments, allowing children and adults to connect with their musical roots. POSAM also organizes the annual Winter Bluegrass Jubilee, featuring acclaimed bluegrass bands and showcasing the authentic sounds of the genre.
