Dr. Douglas Tiedt, M.D., is a highly experienced and board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. Specializing in high-risk obstetrics and a wide range of gynecological procedures, Dr. Tiedt is recognized for his expertise and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Dr. Tiedt's journey in medicine began with his premedical education at the University of Miami, where he double majored in Biology and Chemistry. He went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of South Florida before completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, VA. Dr. Tiedt has held various positions in military and civilian health care settings. He served as Lt. Commander in the Medical Corps of the US Navy, with postings in Okinawa, Japan, Long Beach, CA, and Camp Lejeune, NC. Following his honorable discharge, he continued his practice in Lancaster, SC, where he worked at Springs Memorial Hospital and established a solo practice before joining MUSC Health Lancaster. Dr. Tiedt's dedication to advancing medical knowledge is reflected in his teaching experience, where he mentored Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine students at VCOM Carolinas and Nurse Practitioner Students at various universities. Active in professional organizations, Dr. Tiedt maintains memberships in prestigious bodies such as the American Medical Association, South Carolina Medical Association, Lancaster Medical Association, SC OB/GYN Association, and the American College of OB/GYN. Dr. William Chinery is a dedicated physician specializing in pediatrics, currently serving at MUSC Health PrimeCare Pediatrics in Lancaster, South Carolina. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Chinery has acquired extensive experience and expertise in pediatric care, from primary care to specialized medical interventions. Prior to his current position, Dr. Chinery served as a Pediatric Attending at Marlboro Park Hospital in Bennettsville, South Carolina. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, New York, where he also served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. Dr. Chinery's journey in pediatric medicine began with his medical education at the University of Ghana, where he earned his MBChB degree. He later became a Member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in the United Kingdom. Board-certified by the American Association of Pediatrics (FAAP), Dr. Chinery continually demonstrates his commitment to professional development and excellence in patient care. Staci Polk is a Certified Physician Associate with a special interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Presbyterian College in 2016. She then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South College in Knoxville, TN in 2019. She has had educational experience in OBGYN, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, and Trauma Surgery. Staci also has 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient Gastroenterology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners. Staci enjoys developing patient and provider relationships and is passionate about and committed to providing high-quality, individualized care to each of her patients.
