My Sister's Books, which opened in 2002, is located in one of the country's oldest resort communities - Pawleys Island, SC. The store is the realization of a dream for sisters Fran Clarkson and Bess Long. After both completed careers in the U.S. Navy, they founded this used paperback and books on CD bookstore that caters to locals and visitors alike.

Since January My Sister's Books has made an unethical change in their policy where now customers are only allowed to use their store credit to cover a maximum of half of the price of used books....

A great little bookstore! Very friendly and well-organized. They had Choose Your Own Adventures!! (Sorry guys, I bought all three)

This bookstore is full of many things, sci-fi, romance, the screams of damned souls, really great for used paperbacks. 5 stars.

Great place for used books - especially fiction that's perfect for a good beach read. Staff is helpful, pleasant. Store is well organized, easy to browse. Not a great selection of non-fiction.
