Dr. Lauren Carter is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Florida State University. Dr. Carter completed her predoctoral internship at the Charleston Consortium Clinical Psychology Internship Program (MUSC and Ralph Johnson VA) and her postdoctoral fellowship specializing in behavioral medicine at MUSC. She serves as a supervisor in the Behavioral Medicine Clinic and the Women's Reproductive Behavioral Health Clinic for the Charleston Consortium Clinical Psychology Internship Program. Her research interests focus broadly on eating and weight disorders, exercise, quality of life, and behavioral medicine.
