Dr. Harsha Karanchi is an endocrinologist at MUSC. He joined as an assistant professor in the Division of Endocrinology in 2018. He received an employee appreciation award &-the Shining Star 2017&- for outstanding service while faculty at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.Dr. Karanchi is interested in helping patients manage diabetes, obesity, bone health, and disorders of the thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal glands. His clinical practice focuses on weight management, diabetes, diabetes in pregnancy, and transgender medicine. With his experience in managing the health of transgender patients, he is striving to improve care in transgender medicine.Dr. Karanchi is committed to providing comprehensive quality care and emphasizes patient education.
