History

I've always been a dog and animal lover since a very young age. As a child we had four generations of dogs all from our very first puppy named Crystal. Once I graduated college and moved my way through long term management and corporate jobs, I knew eventually I wanted to do something I truly loved everyday. While living in the Atlanta area, I adopted my two dogs who are now seniors and turn 14 (Hank, a basset lab mix) and 12 (Binkie, a corgi lab mix) this year. They mean the world to me and I knew there were others who cared for their pets just as much as I did. I started dog walking on the side when I moved back to South Carolina. The demand for one on one dog visits and walks grew and I knew I could live my best life while helping other humans and animals live theirs. Magz Wagz was born in June 2021 and now dogs and cats (and sometimes chickens and reptiles) get more wagz with Magz!

Magz Wagz Dog Walking & Pet Care specializes in dog walking, pet visits, and in house sittings primarily in the North Charleston/Park Circle, West Ashley, and various other locations across the Lowcountry. I treat your floofers like my own! I have wonderful clients (both hooman and doggo) that I've built lasting relationships with. I am known for my calm approach, good vibes, and patience. Every visit is not only about the needs of the animal but also the wants! On a dog walk I make sure they get all the sniffs in. I can also feed, administer meds, refresh water, check mail/packages, water plants especially during sittings! If they are friendly with other dogs, they might make a new friend on a walk. But if they prefer their space, we enjoy walks through nature.
