Dr. Brodie McKoy is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint preservation and reconstruction. In 2013, he performed the first robotic partial total knee and total hip procedures in South Carolina and now performs nearly 100% of total knee replacements using advanced robotic technology. His expertise includes shoulder and knee arthroscopy, cartilage transfer, and ligament reconstruction, as well as complex hip, knee, and shoulder reconstructions. Dr. McKoy is skilled in muscle-sparing direct anterior hip replacements and joint replacement surgery, and has advanced training in ortho-biologics and regenerative medicine. He offers platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell injections to support recovery without surgery, providing patients with innovative, personalized orthopedic care.

I'm dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care using evidence-based guidelines and state-of-the-art technology. I discuss with patients the importance of shared decision-making, listen carefully to their concerns and work in tandem with them to reach their health goals. I have extensive experience in dialysis access, management of vein disorders and varicose veins and long-term medical and surgical management of vascular disease. Sharing knowledge with future physicians is one of my passions. I'm an assistant clinical professor at my alma mater, the Medical University of South Carolina, where I teach residents, fellows and future Physician Assistants. I am board certified in vascular surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition, I'm a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, an associate member of the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society and a senior member of the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery.
