Lauren Clayton, MD

Dr. Kindal Dankovich is from Greenville, SC and is dedicated to giving back to her community. She attended Clemson University, was a member of the charter class at the USC School of Medicine Greenville, and completed her residency at Greenville Health System. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a teaching faculty member at the Children’s Hospital working in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings. She enjoys practicing inpatient pediatrics and working in the newborn nursery, but also loves practicing preventative medicine and getting to know her patients at the Center for Pediatric Medicine.

James Gettys, MD, is a board-certified primary care provider at Prisma Health in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed his residency in family practice at Greenville Health System. During residency, he served as chief resident, was president of the house staff and was received the Outstanding Family Medicine Resident of the Year award. Dr. Gettys' special interests include acute and preventive gynecologic services as well as pediatric and adolescent care.

Julie M. Linton, MD is a primary care pediatrician and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville and Prisma Health Children’s Hospital Upstate. Dr. Linton’s professional work focuses on optimal clinical care, community engagement, and advocacy for policy-level action regarding children in immigrant families, with a framework of health equity. Dr. Linton is an alumna of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Leaders Program, the Past Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Council on Immigrant Child and Family Health, a member of the AAP Committee on Federal Government Affairs, and a current consultant for the Urban Institute-Georgetown Law Project on Health Equity and the Law. Dr. Linton is currently pursuing her master’s degree in global health policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. After graduating with a B.S. in psychology from Duke University, Dr. Linton spent 9 months in Panama as part of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, in partnership with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. Dr. Linton earned her medical doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, followed by pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
