Laurel Crest Retirement Community

The Laurel Crest Retirement Center is a residential complex that provides independent and assisted living facilities. The center also operates a nursing home and a specialized unit that provides health care services to patients suffering from Alzheimer s disease and dementia-related disorders. The center offers a wide range of services, such as 24-hour nursing care, housekeeping, transportation, fire alarm and security systems, meal preparation and maintenance and repair of facilities. It provides various amenities, including cottages, apartments, a beauty salon, a barbershop and guest rooms. It also organizes recreational activities that include board and card games, special events and theater trips. The center is owned and operated by the First Presbyterian Church. The Laurel Crest Retirement Center was established in 1994 and is located in West Columbia, S.C.
