The Keith Summey North Charleston Library (KSNC) opened in 2023, replacing a smaller facility that had served the community for over seventy years. This modern library features a children's area with a storytime room, a creative studio, meeting and study rooms, and an outdoor reading area, all designed to enhance the community's access to resources and learning opportunities.

Originally established in 1946 by the North Charleston Junior Chamber of Commerce as a memorial to local citizens lost in war, the library's history reflects a deep commitment to community service. The KSNC continues this legacy by offering public computers, WiFi, and dedicated spaces for teens, fostering a vibrant environment for learning and exploration.
